Utilizing our wealth of experience, advanced technology and a full range of manufacturing equipment, we are committed to persevering until our customers’ demands have been fully satisfied. We always analyze customer’s needs through their perspective, aim to establish an integrated operating system from design to manufacturing and sales, and devote ourselves to acquiring new customers in new industrial sectors.
Electric wire businessWe provide a complete customer service, from cable manufacturing through to wire harness assembly, including the production of electrical conductors, insulated wires, flat braided copper wires, and flexible bunch stranded copper wires (flexible annealed copper stranded wires), as well as the design and installation of equipment wiring , all according to customer’s specification.
Company ProfileMeiko Futaba’s drawing technique makes it possible to manufacture almost 1.4 million meter electrical wires with 50 microns in diameter. We satisfy customer requirements with short lead times and a close attention to high-quality work through our integrated production system.
Following our proven success in the market for gasoline-powered vehicles, our products are being adopted in the development of next-generation and future-generation automobiles, and have achieved acclaim for quality, delivery dates and prices.
Because of their flexibility, flat braided copper wires are ideal for use as cables to attach to connectors of electrical apparatus and electrolytic cells as well as ground wires.
Flexible conductors for bus ducts / lead wires for electrolytic cells / lead wire for pantographs / ground wires for batteries / lead wires for magnetic switches / other lead wires requiring flexibility / ground wires, and so on.
Our flat braided copper wires have excellent flexibility, and are thus ideally suited for use within the movable parts of electric/electronic devices. And, their larger surface areas relative to stranded wires allow for superior heat dissipation, which enables devices to accommodate a larger maximum permissible current. Furthermore, as they naturally absorb the vibration of devices, the loosening of terminals is prevented. Flat braided copper wires are also optimal for devices operating at low voltages with larger currents. And, when larger currents are necessary, multiple flat braided copper wires can easily be arranged within a confined space, providing versatility and convenience.
Bundles of annealed copper wires, tin-plated annealed copper wires and other metal element wires are braided, separately or together,to produce hollow round braided wires and flat braided wires.
Specifications are in accordance with the JCS(the Japanese Cable Makers’ Association Standard)1236:2001. When no guidance is available in the JCS,we follow our own rigorous in-house standards.Braiding methods include single, double and triple braiding.
As element metal wires, we use aluminum wires, OFCs (oxygen-free copper wires), nickel-plated annealed copper wires and so on.
Because of their flexibility, flexible bunch stranded copper wires (flexible annealed copper stranded wires) are ideal for use as cables to attach to connectors and lead wires, and so on.

Annealed copper wire bundles or tin-plated annealed copper wire bundles are braided with bundles of relatively fine wires of other metal element either in opposite directions or in the same direction.

We are confident that Meiko Futaba’s harnesses will more than satisfy your requirements regarding Quality, Cost (Price) and Delivery (QCD). We have even made and shipped custom-made products on the day we received the order at a competitive price.
With one manufacturing base in Japan, our customers can rest assured that they will be fully satisfied with our quality levels, lead times and prices. Just as each piece of electronic equipment has its own unique design features, so too will the wire harness that must be tailor-made to fit into it, which is where Meiko Futaba can bring to bear its wealth of design experience to help customers specify their needs.
Our domestic plant in Japan offers a comprehensive range of manufactured products and assembly services, including electrical wire production and cutting, cable formation, and the installation or connection of cables and wires into electric/electronic devices.
We provide a complete customer service, from the designing and manufacturing of wire harnesses to the assembling of units, always faithful to our customers’ requirements.
